Funeral notice OK to claim Greyhound bereavement leave discount? I need to travel from Ontario to NovaScotia for a funeral. Does Greyhound accept a funeral notice when claiming the 20% off discount? Or do they absolutely need the copy of the death certificate? I've tried calling, and they just give me the run-around. Some say they orffer the discount others say no. And of course, nothing is available on their website. FYI it's my husband's sister VIA Rail accepts funeral notices from the paper...
Politics: Ever been to a funeral and notice some jerk smiling and chatting it up? I have been robbed and insulted by our leaders, wish they would not grin and look so proud of themselves, the SOBs! Well, I watch CSPAN and I see some like that at the National Governors' Meeting, today. Penn. Gov. Rendall is grinning and fat and sassy. He just doesn't get it. Can you name other politicians who displays such inappropriate behavior? I guess Sen. Chuck Schumer comes to mind. Others? It is time for them to go. Plain and simple.
What is proper etiquette for a card and gift to the family at a funeral? This is my uncle. The obituary doesn't mention giving donations to a certain charity or anything like that (sometimes I see in a funeral notice where the family asks to give donations to a cancer charity in the persons name or something like that) I'm not sure if a monetary gift in the card is appropriate or expected? If so, how much? I have no problem giving money, I just don't know if I should or if so, how much.
Did anyone notice Tatiana Thumbtzen in MJ funeral? Tatiana the girl from "The Way You Make Me Feel" is there, as well as Lisa Marie Presley and they're saying shes really emotional right now which kinda surprised me since she was such a bitch the last couple of years, but ofcouse You never know what you have till its gone. But yeah some unexpected people there.

Did anyone notice the first lady wearing white at the Pope's funeral? I was told once that only royalty traditionally wore white at funerals. So does she think she is royalty, or what? Okay, I stand corrected, it was when he was layed out in state one of the days leading up to the funeral, I do not have a picture but I saw it on T.V. They were kneeling as the the crowds were walking past, they were the only people in that seat, together. He was all in black and she was all in white. I thought it was strange.
What should i wear to a funeral? I am a guy and i havent been to many funerals before. I do NOT own a suit and i dont know what i should wear? any thoughts? and is that ok if i do not wear a suit? the funeral was short notice for me and i dont have time to go a rent one, it wouldnt be in in time. and it is a friend, not a family member.
I had a dream where I was attending a funeral of someone else what does this mean? I was walking down the street and noticed a funeral home... I walked along the yard of it and noticed the mourners there... I was dressed appropriately and I found that I also joined in on the proceedings. But I was afraid that I might get caught out by someone wondering what I was doing there. Because they were all strangers to me... I just felt that I needed to join in... It was very very bizzare?
What is the proper action to take when a funeral procession is passing by? I am from California, but currently live in Slidell, LA. One day in my town, I was pulling out of my subdivision, and I apparently was tail-end to a funeral procession. I noticed that as I followed behind them, people on the opposite side of the street had stopped in the middle of traffic until the procession passed them by. It seemed like the cars that had stopped were sporatic, and others had actually driven around some of them. I believe the person who had passed away was a police officer. I guess I'd like to know, what was the reason they pulled over on the other side of the street? Was it a southern thing, or a military/police kind of thing? I'm not sure, but would love to know!!! I know about a funeral procession on my side to pull over, i'm talking about people on the OTHER side of the street, as in traffic going the opposite way.Is it appropriate for that lane to pull over. I never had seen opposing traffic pull over until i moved here.
How do I write a death notice or something to prove that I was at a funeral? OK, so I'm going to New York to do some Christmas shopping, and I have an exam on while I'm away, so I asked my college lectures if I could re-sit the exam after the "funeral of my uncle". She said yes, BUT she e-mailed me later on and said this : "All absences must be certified, so please ensure that you bring back with you a certified account of your uncle's bereavement - a letter from his local priest, a death notice or something to that effect." I can't believe my teacher thinks im lying! I mean, I'm meant to be in "mourning" and she has me going around asking a priest to write a letter!! The cheek of her! So now I'm screwed! How do I prove I was at a funeral? Go to some funeral in New York and take pictures? I don't know what to do. Obviously I can't go tell the truth, I wouldn't be able to re-sit the exam and also, I'd probably get into a lot of trouble for lying...! So what should I do? Write a fake death notice? Get one from the paper while I'm in NY? Write a letter pretending it's from the local priest... But what if my teacher tries to call the priest then? Or would it look okay if I wrote a letter and didn't sign it!
Ever notice atheists and christians act different at funerals? Every funeral I've been to has had no breakdown from me. Instead I just believe that maybe if I have their dna on record(which often there is) and some of their handwriting I can bring them make as a clone or a machine. I don't fully embrace this and I understand it doesn't absolutely have to happen but I hope it does anyway. On the otherhand I find christians tend to be the ones crying when someone dies. Even when they tell themselves there's heaven it's like they doubt it exist.
When is it not okay to touch the casket at a funeral? Unfortunately, I must attend a funeral next week, and I've noticed that at some funerals, people place their hands on the casket as they walk by, and at others people all leave it alone. I just don't want to come across as disrespectful.
Is it inappropriate to take children to a funeral? I just found out that my cousins wife has past on and the showing is today, being so short notice I cant find a babysitter. I have never been to a showing/funeral before so dont know what to expect. My kids are 11 and 8 and very polite and patient, they wont run around and yell. But I feel uncomfotable taking them, it just seems inappropriate to me, I am wondering what others think? Thanks
Did you notice something about Michael jackson's funeral? The media kept saying over and over that 'millions of fans" were "flooding" LA,and that police expected at least "two million people" to descend on the area around the Staples Center. Instead, around a 1,00 people showed up.Oh,and a circus. Might that not say that his popularity might be just a tad bit over-exaggerated? Ali-That's the biggest pile of self-serving BS I've come across in a while.
Have you ever released a dove at a funeral then it pooped on you? Have you ever witnessed or participated in releasing a dove at a funeral then it pooped on you? Reason I am asking is I was watching funerals on Youtube and noticed many doves being released. It crossed my mind that "does that dove ever take a doo doo on the casket or something".
Did anyone notice this during the televised funeral service for the fallen soldiers at fort hood? when I watched the service the other day I noticed something that really Pi$$ed me off.It was a sad and humbling service until obama and his "butt ugly" wife walked out from behind the curtain. The minute they did some obama loving idiots in the crowd started screaming and shouting as if he just walked out to give a campaign speech. It was at that time I was hoping some of the soldiers would have gotten up ,rounded them up ,took them to the back of the building and gave them an a$$ whipping for being so disrespectful of their fallen brethren. There is a time and place for everything, but that was just rude and uncalled for. This is my opinion, what do you think about this. For townshend, why don't you do a little research on old "butt ugly",You'll find she's as ugly on the inside as she is on the outside, maybe that is why she married a crook. Hey dbcmpny,I bet you didn't even watch what I'm talking about so your opinion holds as much water as a bucket filled with holes, why don't you do the research on her to.
Why do funeral directors have clocks outside? I've noticed that the vast majority of funeral directors have clocks on the outside of the building or on signs outside the building, I'm sure there must be a reason as it seems to be a tradition, can anyone tell me why this is?
A friend who owns a flower shop died yesterday. Where do I get the funeral arrangement? I been buying flowers every saturday from this local family owned flower shop for the past fifteen years or so. Throughout the course of my purchasing at the flower shop the owner and I have became close friends. She passed away yesterday. Should I send a funeral arrangement from their own shop or from another? Let's face it, people notice these things even in times of mourning. You may ask yourself, Don't you think they'll be too busy planning the funeral to be worried about your stupid arrangement? They have workers, other than the immediate family that assist in putting the arrangements together. I'm in a pickle!
How do you have a funeral for a family pet? My dog kept having "mistakes" in the house so I put him outside. Well, he got in a fight with a couple of bigger dogs and they killed him. I put him on the trash pile but they haven't picked him up yet. My son noticed him on the trash pile and tried to pick him up. He was so upset when he realized that he was dead. Now I need to have a funeral. Any ideas? Does anyone have any special pet prayers? Should I invite his puppies?
I have been served an eviction notice for 2 weeks time due to mortgage arrears. How can I stop this? We had a family bereavement several months ago leading to funeral cost and fell into arrears with our mortgage. The lender misled us into thinking that low payments are better than nothing at all so when we were served with a court date we were very surprised. We managed to find the money and pay it off however, this has had a knock on effect to future payments in catching up with everything after having to find a lump sum. Today we were served another notice to be out in 2 weeks even though they only applied to the court on friday. We can't find the money from anyone (believe me we've tried!) and I have filled in a form at the court today and have a hearing on thursday to delay the eviction warrant. We have another lender who has agreed to re mortgage our home and they reckon it will complete in 3-4 weeks however the eviction date is in 2 weeks. How likely is it that the judge will grant us an extention? Please only reply if you have genuine advice as we are stressed enough. Thanks
Need a funeral song to play on the guitar? I'm going to play a song for my grandpa's death anniversary but I don't know what to play. I'm hoping to play a song on an acoustic guitar similar to how to save a life by the fray, but I don't have a capo and I'm playing on Friday so I need a song on short notice. He died by a gunshot, so something tailored to that would be good.
What is expected when a funeral procession passes? Even being in my 20's I notice that nobody has respect anymore these days. When a hearse passed, it was expected that a policeman would stand and salute, and men would remove their hats, if wearing one, and bow their heads until the procession had passed. 10 points for the person who can correctly tell me what women are expected to do as a hearse passes.
What is the proper etiquette for death notice of a friend after 2 months? My friends mother died who i knew for 25 years, i was very close to her. My friend just called to say she died 2 months ago.. There was a large funeral... and wake.. I feel really bad nobody told me about it or when she passed as i would have gone to pay my respects. So what do i do now, send flowers? its very weird she didnt tell mer
if you could speak at micheal jacksons funeral what would you say? through his greatest hits and his life struggles micheal jackson made a huge impact on us all wether youve noticed or not. so i stumble upon the question... if you were to be able to speak at his funeral what would you say to his fellow fans, friends, and family?
Did you notice Jesus Christ the Lord honored during Michael Jackson's funeral today? I was moved to tears watching this on TV. Gods love was all over the place and I love all those who said or sang there, in Christ. What is the message of the cross? The vertical pole to be restored with the heart of the Father. The horizontal pole to reach out to others in Gods love. The Lord let me know Michael was with the Lord, because he was saved shortly before he died. And it seems that others there also believe Michael is in heaven with the Lord today also. Serenade, Uwrote: how is the cross a christian symbol of love when he was just killed on one? Iwrite: In the garden, Jesus sweat blood, already our sins were put on Him. Jesus prayed to the Father, if it were possible, could this cup pass from Him. It wasn't possible. His bearing our sins on the cross, dieing, being physically buried, His soul going to the heart of the earth to take back the keys from death & hell, Him raising from the dead being the first born from the dead, was for us! That is love. Jesus heart was always one with the Fathers heart. Jesus said that what the Father said. Jesus was the Seed of the Woman so didn't have sin nature. Jesus never sinned. The wages of sin is death. Our sins were put on Jesus. Our sins separated Jesus heart from the Fathers Heart. Jesus died from a broken heart. He is the only one that the curse of sin & death could not keep Jesus in the grave. He raised up flesh & bone, for us! So we could raise up like Him on Resurrection Day. David, Your Lord must be a different Jesus Christ than mine. My Jesus is Jesus Christ of Nazareth of the Biblical Gospels. I prayed about Hitler also. He went to the worst hell fire. Saddam Hussein went to hell. Also after that Alquida terrorist AlZaquari died, I had a nightmare of fear swooping. In my dream, I was praying 'Jesus' standing on my childhood bed. It was just moments of terror. I woke up. Then I asked Jesus 'Why...". Jesus told me He wanted me to have that nightmare. (Pause.) Then asked if I was glad terrorists went to hell. So Alzaquari went to a terror hell also.
What do you think of this baseball notice about the Mets? I know this is a little late but here it is: I Have Some Bad News by: Justin D (Oh! No! Not...) The Mets died yesterday after battling a terrible losing streak. Their passing resulted in the Phillies going to the playoffs. There's suspicion that the Phillies had something to do with the Mets imminent death. However that is just suspicion. The funeral will be this Wednesday. They won only 88 games. They were only 1 game from their 89th. star if you like it.
What's the biggest mistake you've heard at a funeral? My family had to attend my husband's uncle's funeral today. At the crematorium service, the minister started off okay, mentioning the life of Uncle Bobby. Then near the end of the service, he said the name Ian???? Where he got Ian from Bobby, goodness knows. It was obviously noticed and afterwards it was mentioned among us relatives. The minister didn't hang about either and disappeared before anyone could say anything to him.
Why do some people take pictures at a funeral? I noticed that people were taking pictures at the last two funeral services that I attended. I found it strange and had never seen it done before. Is this creepy to you? The picture were being taken of the deceased person and of the mourning people.
At funeral viewings, is there a particular custom in placing the casket/body for viewing? Of all the funeral viewings I have been to, I've noticed the body/casket is always arranged so that the head of the deceased is to the left of the person viewing it. (In other words, when you're viewing the body at an open casket viewing, their head is on your left and their feet -the closed part of the casket- are to the right.) Is this just chance or are there specific customs or rules for funeral homes to display the deceased? Just curious about my observation. Thanks for legitimate answers.
Where to send flowers for a funeral? Should they be sent to the funeral directors, crematorium or to a relative's house? If they are being sent to a relative's house, how do I word the message so that they know the flowers are meant for the funeral ceremony. I know a lot of people specify no flowers but the death notice said family flowers only and I am a part of the family (it was my gran's sister who passed away) so hope it will be OK. I can't go to the funeral so I would like to send flowers, just not sure of the etiquette so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks everyone for your helpful and sincere answers.
Funeral procession safety? What do you think of the idea of revising traffic laws to remove the additional considerations for funeral processions (i.e. making them obey traffic signals)? I think there are major safety issues with funeral processions proceeding through traffic signals without stopping, particularly in heavy traffic areas and without police escorts stopping traffic at major intersections. Try googling "Funeral procession accident" I got like 88k hits. Some people may think this is an issue of respect, but I think safety must be taken into consideration. Too many people have died in accidents with (or in) funeral processions when their vehicles do something another driver didn't anticipate. I saw a near accident that really scared me. Legally, it would have been the "fault" of the driver that proceeded through the green light (as he would have at ANY other time), but that is something that could really happen to anyone if they didn't notice the funeral. Note: the laws are different in various states. Most, but not all states give some special consideration to funerals. Run through a red light in a funeral in the wrong state and you CAN get a ticket (or be found at fault for the accident).... which laws are in effect in your state? And for that matter... it confuses things more as people attending funerals may be from many different states.
Why is it allowed for people to protest outside of funeral homes protesting certain situations? I noticed more recently on the new broadcast that people have been outside of funeral homes protesting such things crime, war and even personal beliefs. Cant people even mourn loved ones without outsiders making it a side show. If you have an opinion on it then write a letter and post it in the paper. Leave the families alone and use your time protesting the funeral homes until another day or another situation to get noticed. When does the freedom of speech go too far? If you dont believe in abortions, pray for them.If you dont like blacks or jews, then quit hiding behind white sheets and move to a deserted island or stay in the woods cut off from the world. If you dont like war, politicians, rich people, global warming, taxes, your job, gays, aides, research of stem cells or anything that makes you unhappy or uncomfortable look at it this way. Someone out there probably doesnt think much of you either but, have they tried to start an uproar over it? Let people live on like they please
Should I be obligated to fly across the country for my Brother-In-Law's funeral? My Brother-in-Law (Wife's Brother) died very unexpectedly. Her family lives in another state. The airfare will cost $900 dollars for the both of us because it is such short notice. She offered to go by herself to save us money. I'm not sure if she really meant that or if it would be inappropriate. Should I attend with her no matter what? Her Brother and I weren't close (we only met twice) though he was a good guy and I did really like him.
Is it wrong to not go to my great grandmas birthday and funeral? She is turning 95 on sunday, but we all know she is going ot die soon. I have never really talked to her exxcept when i was little and i would stay there and play cards with her. She saw me a couple days ago and remembered me, but she has 12 kids meaning god knows how many grand kids. Its not like she would notice if i wasnt at her birthday. And I wasnt that close to her to go to her funeral . . . right? Okay first of all, just asked my mom, never really talked to her. She has 24 daughter/son inlaws/kids. 37 grandchildren. 63 grandchildren! Though she new my name she had to repeatedly ask what my name was. And thaught that my cousin was my sisters baby. My sister is 13!
Starting a store dealing with funeral wear only? Does anyone know of such a store/shop, I have noticed that people (in my part of the world) have to move from one shop to the other looking for black and white attires. then move on to another to get shoes, hats etc.. is it a viable business to start a one stop store? Complete also with clothes for the deceased?
WOW! I've never really noticed, but Undertaker has had like 5 different versions of that funeral song? I never really noticed it, but Undertaker has had like 5 versions of that funeral song. I don't know where you can listen to them altogether so you can clearly tell the difference, but in visiting youtube and dailymotion and viewing some of his matches, you can clearly see the changes in his music. Personally, I hated his music on his debut. It sounded awful. He had a song that sounded very similar to his music at his debut. It changed a little bit. Then he changed it up again at Summer Slam 94' when he returned to meet his clone. You can tell. Because if you watch Summer Slam 94', Paul Bearer will make his entrance to the Undertaker's 2nd theme song, and when the Undertaker returns, the music changes. That is when I start to like his music and his entrances at Summer Slam 94' and like at Royal Rumble 95'. The Undertaker would end up getting yet a new version of that funeral dirge at Survivor Series 95' when he returned with a mask after his injury from Yokozuna and Mabel. And then... he completely altered his music toward the end of the dead man era which I think was a total mistake, and now there is another version of his deadman song. So I think it's everytime he makes a return from the dead, his music seems to change at least back in the 90s when he was at his prime in particularly 94' 95' and 96' were the best music years and taker years for me.
What about Funeral phone calls? Has anyone noticed as soon as someone becomes elderly they get this funeral arrangement phone call. Who is it that gives these funeral people the elderly persons phone number? Is it someone who has been watching these people turn old or what?
Funeral Procession? ? When you notice a funeral procession, do you pull over and give respect to the dead? I live in Texas and have lived in Oklahoma, both states are real good about giving respect, recently I was in Michigan for a funeral. Nobody pulled over for our procession!!!! Nobody!!! How rude.
How to find an obituary or death notice in News Paper? My best friend was tonight told that her brother who she hasn't seen or heard from in quite sometime committed suicide last week. She wasn't even told in time to attend the funeral. I have searched every where I can possibly think of. The only thing I have found was an "In Loving Memory" dedicated to him on a gaming page, and have been unsuccessful contacting the owner of the site: www.geocities.com/evilman302 (Pic of him and a poem...) How do I find out who posted that? Could it have been him before he actually took his own life? How can I find out information on his death? His name was Jeff Macaloney and his apparent death was last week in Saskatchewan, Canada. How can this not even have made the local paper? :( He has a 2 yr old nephew that he never even got to meet.... HELP PLEASE!
christians ever notice when amoral humans curse? they think it's totally ok. but when there young children are around them it's ''adult'' talk. or if there in a church( wedding, funeral etc...) they watch there cursing. my thoughts are if the cursing is ok why then is it ''watched'' in certain situations.please don't use the out of respect routine.if it truely ok to curse then they should curse anywhere anytime and any place. but they don't. so deep inside they know it is wrong but they do it anyway.
I smiled at my friend's grandma's funeral? ok, so I went there and gave her a hug and smiled to her. Other people were hugging her and frowning or crying with her over her grandma. A friend of mine made fun of me after the funeral coz he noticed that I was smiling. I just told him that I thought other people were just pretending to be sad just to show sympathy. I wasn't laughing to her or anything. But I'm normally a smily person, I don't like to frown at people. I don't know if that was appropriate or not. I was just wondering is there a way I can control this smiling or what? I guess people sometimes hate it but sometimes I can't help it. Sometimes I notice that I keep smiling at people but they never smile back at me, I don't know if they think I'm weird or what? Is there a trick to control smiling?
What would you do? Its your Grannys Funeral? Hypothetical: If you were at your Grans funeral, standing alone at the coffin and you noticed that she was wearing a very expensive brooch on her shroud, would you be: Tempted to take it? Take it? Wish that she had given it to someone who could use it. Not think about it at all?
I need help finding a death notice.? My Uncle Rocco "Rocky" Liberto died on November 12, 2004. No one in my family told me he had died until 3 weeks after his death so I was not able to attend his funeral. His death notice was published in the Springfield Republican on November 14, 2004. Please look at the link below: https://www.legacy.com/MASSLIVE/DeathNotices.asp?Page=ObitFinderOrder&PersonID=2817286 I want to view his whole death notice but I would have to pay. Is there a website I can go to where i would be able to view the whole death notice for free? I wasn't really sure where to ask this question but this place seemed to fit it the most so sorry if it's in the wrong spot. My family isn't like that. I barely talk to anyone outside my immediate family. That is why I was not informed off his death. That is why I am searching on my own.
Have you ever had a friend pass away and you didnt find out until after the funeral? My husband found out today that a friend who he worked with for many years committed suicide. I searched the death notices and the the funeral was actually yesterday. He is really upset that he didnt get to go. The person who was meant to pass on this sad news didnt do so until this morning. I feel really bad for him - do you think he should send flowers to the family. Has this happened to anyone else?
Are these practices common to all Baptist funerals or are they secular inventions by the funeral home? I recently attended the funeral of a Baptist relative in Georgia (USA); and I noticed some practices that seemed very different from the burial traditions of Episcopalians (Anglican Communion) and the Roman Catholic Church. Are these practices regional (Southern US), religious, or completely secular (invented by the funeral industry)? 1) The coffin did not remain closed after the visitation the night before the funeral. It was re-opened near the end of the service so that the mourners could take turns (row by row) to view the body. (The funeral took place in the funeral home's chapel.) 2) The coffin could not be lowered for burial until the mourners had left. It was left above ground with a bouquet on top. (No earth was cast on it.) The family was told that they could return in an hour and that everything would be "fixed" with the flowers from the funeral placed on the grave. I am particularly interested if anyone has seen this at a non-Baptist funeral (please list denomination) or if you've attended a Baptist funeral that was very different than this. I asked my grandmother (Independent Baptist) what type of tradition this was and she said that it was just how things are done -- hence my confusion over whether this is a religious or secular practice – that along with the fact that the funeral home employees seemed to be running the show. Also, when you say this is typical American -- what state or region are you referring to? It is extremely interesting to learn about the different practices for this rite of passage. Thank you for your responses!
Shouldn't I receive a 30 day notice to vacate? I have lived in a home owned by a friend since October of 2005. In late November of 2006, yhe friend passed away. My husband and I paid December rent to his mother and sister, a few days after the funeral. We were as they unsure of what to happen with any of his properties. They took our phone number and said they would be in touch. Since then no one has come to collect rent. On Monday the 23 of april I came out of my door to find a three day notice dated April 17 to quit or pay an amount that was never my rent and late fees. This notice had no contact information for the owner only the name and number to a law office with a lawyer I have been unable to get in contact with. The notice says I am in breech of my rental aggrement. I have no agreement, since I was renting from a friend everything has been verbal. The friend bought a larger home and wanted someone to live in the smaller one. He offered to sell to us when we were ready.
Whose funeral is it? Harry is walking down the road when he notices an unusual funeral procession approaching the local cemetery. A hearse is followed by a second hearse and behind that walks a solitary man with a pitbull on a lead. Following behind the man are 200 other men walking in single file. Curious, Harry approaches the man with the dog. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but whose funeral is this?" The man replies, "Well, the first hearse if for my wife. She died after my dog attacked her. And the second hearse is for my mother-in-law. she was trying to help my wife when the dog turned on her too." A thoughful moment of silence passes. "Any chance I could borrow your dog?" asks Harry. "Join the queue," says the man.
Driving in a Funeral Procession? I have noticed that young drivers today either have never been told the meaning of a stream of cars all driving in a row, with there head lights on, or else they find it amusing to cut into a funeral procession and cause havok. What has happened to the days where people would pull over out of respect for a hearse? how come so many young people completely ignore funeral processions or cut into funeral processions? how many people find this really disrespectful and annoying?
Puzzling funeral procession? The Funeral Procession A woman was leaving a convenience store with her morning coffee when she noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind. Behind the second hearse was a solitary woman walking a very mean looking dog on a leash. Behind that were 200 women walking single file. The woman couldn't stand the curiosity. She respectfully approached the woman walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now is a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?" The woman replied, "Well, that first hearse is for my husband." "What happened to him?" The woman replied, "My dog attacked and killed him." She inquired further, "Well, who is in the second hearse?" The woman answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my husband when the dog turned on her." A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passes between the two women. "Can I borrow the dog?" "Get in line." LOL...no one wats to see an unhappy_bunny....come get the dog and your ten points...plus your 2 for answering, and all your thumbs up points. Cute answer, thanks everyone for enjoying the joke...I wish I could choose each of you. ...should read wants instead of wats, sorry.
The Dog & The Funeral? A man was leaving a cafe with his morning coffee when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind. Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a pit bull dog on a leash. Behind him were 200 men walking single file. The man couldn't stand the curiosity. "Get in line."
A good Morning Funeral? A man was leaving a convenience store with his morning coffee when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a pit bull on a leash. Behind him, a short distance back, were about 200 men walking single file. The man couldn't stand his curiosity. He respectfully approached the man walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now this is a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?" "My Wife's.." "What happened to her?" The man replied, "My dog attacked and killed her." He inquired further, "Well, who is in the second hearse?" The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife when the dog turned on her." A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passed between the two men. "Can I borrow the dog?" "Get in line!" And for anybody who says "It's to long! I can't read that many words!" Try this; http://www.speedreading.net/
