He told me my grandfather have cancer and the doctor said he won't make it and my grandfather wants to see me. I spoke with my grandfather and he couldn't speak so I promised him I will come with in this week. I'm relatively new in the firm. I was working for them around 7 months. Anyways, yesterday I went to the managing director and told him my grandfather have cancer and I will take only one day off and be back from Berlin the next day because last time I saw him I was 15 and now I'm 24. John the director told me we need you and I will give you one week off after one month and he insisted that I'm really needed etc..When I finish work yesterday and I was driving home, my brother called me and told me my grandfather died. They are bring the body to florida and I will go to the funeral. Will you quit if u were in my place? I know its not the fault of the MD but i feel disgusted that I explained everything to him yet he gave me excuses. It is not related to politics section but I'm just looking for mature answers.
