Ftd Funeral Flowers Knowledge Base
Can you carry flowers into a funeral home? My Aunt died and she will not have that many flowers at her funeral. I feel bad because I cannot afford the $50 - 150 that flowers cost from FTD florists. I was wondering if I could carry them in a bag and place them in the office when you first walk in. That way the funeral home would place them in the room where my aunt is. I am embarassed at the thought, however I cannot afford to send flowers. Am I better off going empty handed? Also to add, My aunt lives in a very low populated area and I dont think she will have many flowers. I would love to see a few sent flowers around her, especially for my cousin's sake.

What is an appropriate (but cheap) offer for a funeral? Hello, I just found out that sending flowers to a funeral that I cannot attend costs at least $60 from FTD. I don't want to go with a florist that I do not trust since I won't be able to see the flowers when they arrive. Is there an offering I can send that costs $30 or less? I don't make that much money nor did I know the deceased. But he was the brother of a friend of mine. Thanks for your help.
Was this too many flowers for a viewing and a funeral? I paid about $250 in flowers for a friend's funeral. He was the brother of my ex-boyfriend, but we've all remained extremely close. I'm basically part of their family. He is being cremated, but his brother told me that they had only ordered flowers to be put over the casket during the viewing. I asked him if they wanted me to pitch in money, but he said to order flowers. So I assumed that they might not have a lot of flowers there and opted for one of those standing flower arrangements. http://www.charlottesvillesflowerman.com/product/the-ftd-quiet-tribute-standing-spray/display My mom and a co-worker said they'd like to help out with the flowers, so was that too grandiose of a gesture? I don't know why I feel bad about sending a lot of flowers. I'm just wondering if I did the right thing.
Sending flowers on Valentine's Day to a girl far away? Okay, I have a few questions about Valentines Day. I'm sending flowers to my true love out of state. Should I do something online like 1-800-Flowers and FTD? I'm concerned about a local place because I have no information about them and she lives in a small town. I would be very embarrased if something went wrong. Also, I don't know what to send exactly. I'm all about tradition so I want to send roses and lots of them. On the other hand, alot of flowers I see online look like funeral items and not Valentine items. How do I send something that shows my love without looking like it belongs with a coffin? Thank You! Thanks guys, since I can't give them in person I will take your helpful suggestions into action.
Flowers for miscarriage? Im thinking if it was me, Id like the gesture, but not sure Id want to look at them, then have to throw them out. I spose it would be the same for a funeral. I cant decide if I should get some for a friend to show support (in addition to being there of course), then just go with something white? FTD shows some bright colorful bouquets in the sympathy section, which confuses me. Another friend said maybe a plant, but cant decide if that is more of a reminder vs a remembrance. Any thoughts?
