Do you know a good website in Australia for finding funeral notices?

A friend of ours in another town died recently and I don't want to have to pay $1.10 every day to check the funeral notices in the newspaper. Thanks in advance.

1. All of the capital city/national newspapers have online versions. I haven't bought a newspaper for several years but read it daily online. They all have the Announcements notices and you can check up on Births, Deaths, Funerals etc. online daily. I have found though at times that they don't put online every death notice. Go to the web site I have listed, click on Classifieds then select Annoucement Ads and select which State and which category and go from there. Many of the regional newspapers do not have this type of lookup even thought they may have an online version of their newspaper.
