Rest In Peace

christians ever notice when amoral humans curse?

they think it's totally ok. but when there young children are around them it's ''adult'' talk. or if there in a church( wedding, funeral etc...) they watch there cursing. my thoughts are if the cursing is ok why then is it ''watched'' in certain situations.please don't use the out of respect routine.if it truely ok to curse then they should curse anywhere anytime and any place. but they don't. so deep inside they know it is wrong but they do it anyway.

  1. Deep inside you wanna commit the most heinous crimes.. but because God is watching you are keeping a lid on it. Cos that's why you people think there will be no morality if there was no god... You people would run amok. YOU people are the only ones who are AMORAL.
  2. A. I am not 'amoral'. B. I will curse when and where I feel like it. If YOU don't like it, you are free to leave.
  3. they're just words, and society has given them negative connotations. it's all in society's perception.
  4. You sound like someone projecting. As if you yourself have an urge to do something you think is bad, but you can't do it because you're afraid of the invisible man looking over your shoulder. Seriously, that's how this question comes across. I curse infrequently, and never in mixed company. When someone hears a foul word come from my mouth, they know I'm really upset. I know you think atheists have no moral compass and do whatever they want, but that just means you subscribe to prejudices and stereotypes. I don't need a God to tell me what's right and wrong. I have empathy, a conscience, and common sense. Deep down, I think it's the religious people who are terrified of what they themselves would do if they didn't think God was constantly watching them.
  5. Yes, I have noticed this. I have also noticed that when Christians try to measure others instead of themselves, Christ's love becomes less evident to the world. We must practice grace.
  6. What is wrong with your morals!? Killing someone is immoral. Swearing is not immoral.
  7. Because most people who say they are Christians are not Christians. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhNxfGlt4Qw
  8. I swear all the time. I only feel bad in front of little children when their parents are around ... they are just words anyway and they express my discontent. And remind me why I am amoral again ... I have a concept of right and wrong although it may be different than yours
  9. your mannerisms reflect the nature of your true self. If you keep doing a change-up how true is the person.
  10. Personally, I think it is disrespectful and unattractive. It is one of those bad habits many of us do unknowingly. I have been able to quit simply because I have young children. Now, if I slip and use a "sentence enhancer" (sponge bob) I stop myself and apologize. If you don't want your kids to see/hear something you probably shouldn't do it. I love how much I have learned from being a parent! Do we really need to use foul language to get a point across???
