How do you feel about protesters that are protesting the war at military funerals?

They are protesting the war at the funerals of military people that have died in the war

Public Comments

  1. They are sick and should be punished
  2. No respect.
  3. THEY NEED TO ROUND EM UP AND DROP THEM OFF IN IRAQ AND LET THEM PROTEST WHERE IT MATTERS
  4. Fucking Bastards
  5. that's just disrespectful
  6. That is shameful. In America we have to right to protest, but that is not the place or time for protesting.
  7. They should be shot on site. Too harsh? OK, tasered & maced. Yeah, that's it!
  8. I wonder if there are protesters of the protesters. And protesters of the protesters of the protesters of the war? Protesting is a waste of time for people who have nothing better to do. Cheers and have a nice day.
  9. I think it's disgusting, disrespectful and cruel.
  10. It's ok to protest the war, but I think to do it at funerals is inappropriate.
  11. They should be thrown into the gravesite and buried alive.
  12. They are protesting the war, not the troops. I happen to be very against the war, but in full support of our trrops over there. Funerals are definently not the right time and place, but isnt that how you make an impact?
  13. They're making fools of themselves, wasting their time, and not making their point. They're protesting at the wrong time, place, occasion, and to the wrong folks!
  14. They should be deported to North Korea!! The workers paradise!!! Try to protest over there!!
  15. Disrespectful! They should be arrested. I'm not saying war is right or wrong, but there is a time and a place for everything....a funeral is not the time or the place!
  16. OMG- give the dead a little more respect then that !!!!
  17. They should have their butts kicked for not allowing the family of BRAVE Americans to grieve for their fallen heroes and take their liberal peacenik ideas to Congress. If it happens near me I will take "affirmative action."
  18. Now in my opinion that's just sad and disrespectful to the families of the people who lost their lives.
  19. They are sad people that cannot grasp how the world works. They are faceless and meaningless in their existence. They are the forgotten people with no importance to the world.
  20. They should be beaten...and often
  21. A new low for humanity. Just when you think man can't sink any lower someone proves me wrong.
  22. Prostesting war at military funerals is really disrespectful and I cant believe that anyone would do such a thing. For people to do that is like saying that the life that was tooken in this war is a waste and not reconized as that soldier sacraficing his life for the sake of the american people
  23. they should be shot thats what they think there lucky they didn't show up at my brothers funeral i would of murderd them it's so disrespectful and should be outlawed in loving memory of LCPL. Quinn A. Keith october 3, 1892 ~ September 6, 2004 KIA operation Iraqi freedom and never forget the other men and woman who have givin there lifes for out freedom
  24. Cowards. If they have a beef take it to the Whitehouse and tell the man that can change things.
  25. It's disrespectful and deserving of a swift a ss kicking
  26. They are scum
  27. Some people have no class. These people will do anything to get a little attention in the media regardless of the effect it has on the victim's family. I am not even sure if scum is a low enough term for them.
  28. they should be arrested. that is one of the most disrespectful somebody can do. these soldiars did not chose to go to war, they are doing the dirty job of keeping america safe. and if those jerks cant realize that they should be thrown in jail
  29. No honor for the dead, military or not. No sympathy for the familys. These protestors are way off the track. Right and wrong is so mixed up in their heads its a wonder they can dress themselves.
  30. I think it's heart breaking. These families do not need to deal with those idiots on top of the loss of the loved one. The passed military member served our country to give those idiots the "right" to protest...it's sick.
  31. That would be Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas. I think they are absolutely disgusting. You should see their website. It's enough to make you sick. They tried to protest in my state several times and the Patriot Riders protected the families. Then they announced plans to protest at a Native American funeral on the reservation and got their butts kicked (literally) and the tribal police did not interfere (good!) and the state cops had no jurisdiction. Their website tells you what funerals they plan to attend and protest at.
  32. At the very least, it is in extreme bad taste, and exhibits a phenomenal lack of sensitivity. While probably not criminal, it is probably tortious, as it amounts to Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress. Look at professional sports, and think of what behavior players could engage in that would be analogous. They would be ejected from the game in most major sports. Professional Wrestling is the only exception that comes to mind.
  33. I think there should be limits on where you can protest a war. These men & woman are giving their lives for our country, and these idiots are protesting the war at their funeral. The families of these brave men & woman have enough heartache and sorrow, they dont need to be dealing with some bible-humpers with too much time on their hands. Like it or not, this is an American war we are fighting. Your opinions about the war are just that, opinions. Yes, we have freedom of speech, but it should be limited to places other than funerals, have some damned respect.
  34. They should take their @$$ somewhere else. Show respect and honor to our fallen soldiers.
  35. A funeral no matter who dies is not a place for such intrusions. To protest the war at the funeral of a fallen soldier is as un-cooth and tasteless as wearing a red dress at one as well. *unless wearing red was a last request of the deceased*
  36. The should be kept away from the people who are mourning If I were there i would move them away one person at a time I would pick them up and move them I am 6ft8"320 lbs if they resisted i would have my dawg with me and he would convince them otherwise Those people or sick in the head My people are true Christians but i do believe if a group of people disrupted a family funeral those people would feel the wrath of some of my familys men folk and in my town we would not be arrested and if arrested is in another town, who in a jury would convict? HINT I pray for the safety of our fine men and women in uniform
  37. they have no respect for themselevs, country or the men and women fighting. the funerals should be held in privacy so that the family/friends dont have to listen to shit like that
  38. they are rude, it is inapropriate, and they are severyl undereducated and blasphemous. they do it saying that "god hates gays" and "god hates war". they are inacurate, take segments that are out of context to their benefit. when they protested the amish funerals, all we could do was to pray. pray we did. they made it as far as pittsburg, pa, and turned around after being offered television air time. all we can do for these people is pray that they will be shown the light of God through someone with real faith. they are disrespectful, nasty and rude. highly undereducated, they have strongly dissapointed and hurt many military families and friends.
  39. It is so incredibly disrespectful. Not only to the fallen soldier, and too his family and friends, but to all the soldiers who are still fighting for THEIR (the protesters) lives. There is a time and a place, but a funeral is not one. Anyone who does (or doesn't) support our troops...watch this video and then make the decision. It's called "Remember Me". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ervaMPt4Ha0
  40. here's what i do with war protesters: 1: ask them y they are protesting the war. 2: they will come up with some hippy s*it about violence bringing more violence 3: when they finish ,punch them in the nose as hard as you can 4: when they go to hit you back say "no, no, no, you are about to bring violence, any treehugger will stop and agree 5:when they agree, punch them in the face again 6: repeat steps 3-5 over and over until they understand the need to defend themself. 7: special rule; if step one occurs at the funeral of a service man, skip remaining steps and kick his @ss back to last week!
  41. It is very disrespectful!!!! It just shows how rude people can be. The military people are over their fighting for our freedom and to protect us. It just shows that they are not true Americans. God Bless the Soldiers.
  42. These idiots should be arrested and sent to GITMO ASAP!!!!!!!!!!
  43. I have seen footage of some of the protesters at Military funerals and it sickens me to see the total lack of respect for our fallen Soldiers! It's fine to protest...that is your right as an American but there is a time and place for it and funerals are not the place! There should be some kind of punishment for people who have no respect for the Soldiers who gave their lives in War. There is nothing lower than people who do that kind of thing! They are disgusting Human Beings!
  44. Souless Cowards.
  45. IT'S, EXSTREMLY, DISREPECTFUL, & IN POOR-TASTE !!!!!!!!
  46. They need to have their own funerals.
  47. They are giving themselves, our nation and God a bad name. Protest is fine but not at a funeral. sickening.
  48. They have nor ever will have idea how it feels, until they lose a child and someone does the same thing to them. They insight violence in other wise calm people and feed off it in their media frenzy. I feel they should be dropped off in the middle of an ongoing battle in either Iraq or Afgahnistan and made to survive for without Soldier help for a few days, then ask them if they have changed their opinion as of lately?
  49. WOW...words cannot describe how awful that is. I cannot imagine someone being so ugly, so hateful. I think they must be really unhappy people with a lack of connection to other human beings.
  50. They should be shot. If not shot then they should all be sent to jail without parole for 30 years.
